Eco-chic for a Good Cause

So, for the next few weeks, I am going to be busy helping to promote an incredible community event that has grown both organically and exponentially here in Vancouver, BC.

From 50 odd people sun-saluting their way on Kits Beach in 2002 to over 2000 people celebrating yoga, bliss and sustainability at UBC's Thunderbird Stadium on July 12, 2008, while raising funds for Camp Moomba, the 6th Annual Yogathon and Blissfest is now a fixture on Vancouver's summer festival scene.

This year, for the 2nd time running, there will be an eco-fashion show, produced by Sarah Murray of The Honey Mustard and vancouveryoga.com, with local designers such as Tonic, Oqoqo, Lilikiks and Half Moon Yoga. Watch for more on the Yogathon here.
